School News

Dear Lawson Families,

We are delighted to celebrate such a wild ride of a year.  While the pandemic still made the journey difficult, we reopened schools, and were able to celebrate all the wonderful positivity that makes Lawson such a special community.  I want to recognize the staff, students, families, and community members who came together to reclaim our school buildings and put children in the position of connecting with one another again face to face!  We intend to build on this commitment to community connectedness in the coming academic year.  To our new and returning students, we cannot wait to make the 2022-2023 school year a success.  And to our promoting 8th graders, you are true champions of change, flexibility, and perseverance.  We know you will change the world for the better!  To everyone, please have a joyful and relaxing summer and we will see you in August.  Also, please enjoy the following message from our phenomenal PTA...

PTA Year End Recap
What a memorable year it has been closing with an amazing 8th grade celebration.  Thank you to all the parents who were able to contribute generously via our centralized collections portal towards all the non-profit organizations at Lawson Community.  We are grateful to partner with CEEF to make this possible and to provide the community the visibility to everything Lawson has to offer.  Thank you also to the parent volunteers, staff and teachers that have gone above and beyond!  Lawson is truly stronger when we all come together.

With that, we bid our 8th grade parents farewell but know that as Alumni of Lawson, you are always welcome!  May everyone travel safe in your summer adventures and make fantastic memories!
